When any metal alloy containing iron, such as steel, is exposed to moisture and air for extended periods of time, it begins to deteriorate or break down through the formation of iron oxide or rust. The presence of salt speeds this disintegration.

To protect structural and non-structural metal building components from these elemental processes, the metal can be coated with HiOmega^® Epoxy Clear Coat protective spray.

Eco friendly, zero VOC HiOmega^® Epoxy Clear Coat seals and protects metal surfaces, preventing exposure to water, salt, acid and wind. A smooth, marble like finish is formed after drying/curing. UV hardeners can be added to speed drying in natural sunlight.

Apply to clean and dry surfaces for best results.
